You are hereby summoned to a meeting of Billinghay Parish Council which will be held at the schoolroom Billinghay Methodist Church, Victoria Street, Billinghay LN4 4HQ on Monday 3 August 2026 at 7pm. Public and press are welcome to attend for a short session prior to the meeting.

AGENDA

1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.                                                                            

2. To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on members’ Register of Interests.

3. To receive reports from County and District Councillors.

4. To accept the notes from the meeting held 6 July 2026 as minutes and a true record.

7. Finance

a. To approve the payments made during July 2026 (details forwarded to councillors prior to the meeting).

b. To approve the expenditure for the purchase of a wreath for Remembrance Day 8 November 2026.

c. To discuss and approve the value of funds to be returned by Billinghay & District Swimming Pool for the unused grant funding. (Details forwarded to councillors prior to the meeting).

d. To approve the costs for an additional Ecology report and resubmission fees of the planning application for the play equipment proposed for Billinghay Village Hall and Playing Fields.

e. To approve the expenditure for the purchase of a fixing post, postcrete and delivery costs required to replace the dog waste bin on Field Road, at a maximum cost of £150.00 including VAT.

13. To discuss the arrangements for the Christmas Tree Lighting and Blessing event Wednesday 2nd December 2026.
