Notice of the Annual Finance Meeting of Billinghay Parish Council

You are hereby summoned to a meeting of Billinghay Parish Council which will be held at the schoolroom Billinghay Methodist Chapel, Victoria Street on Monday 04 November 2024 at 8.30pm. Public and press are welcome to attend for a short session prior to the meeting.

AGENDA

1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting.                                                                            

2.  To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on members’ Register of Interests.

3. Finance.

a. To consider the following Grant Requests (full details circulated prior to meeting).

  • Billinghay Village Hall              Towards roof repair costs                   £2000.00
  • Billinghay Football Club           Towards new mower cost                  £  500.00
  • Billinghay Bowls Club              Materials to replace boundary fence £1821.60

b. To review grant for War Memorial Flowers (details circulated prior to the meeting).

c. To review Cemetery Fees (comparison figures forwarded prior to the meeting).

d. To review Allotment Rents

e. To consider draft budget for 2025 to 2026 and any proposed Project expenditure.

f. To review and allocate reserves.

g. To receive the NJC Pay Scales for 2024 to 2025 and apply from 1 April 2024.

4. Report on the Community Infrastructure Levy Income and Expenditure – report issued prior to the meeting.
