Notice of the Meeting of Billinghay Parish Council

You are hereby summoned to a meeting of Billinghay Parish Council which will be held at the schoolroom Billinghay Methodist Chapel Victoria Street on Monday 7 February at 7pm. Public and press are welcome to attend for a short session prior to the meeting.

Agenda
1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting.
2. To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on members’ Register of Interests.
3. To accept notes from AFM held 29 November as Minutes and a true record.
4. To receive reports from County and District Councillors.

6. Parish Council Vacancies and declaration of Councillor Harvey disqualification under LGA 1972, s.86
7. Finances
a. Parish Council Grants: Requests received as follows
i. Badass: £3410 Storage Container.
ii Village Hall Committee: £420 curtains for stage.
iii. Billinghay Athletic Football Club: £4000 New Pavilion Roof.
v. Billinghay and District Swimming Pool £2800 Benches.
b. To approve payments made since the last meeting held on (list circulated to Cllrs prior to meeting)
c. To accept Accounts to quarter end 31 Dec 2021 as a true record of council finances
d. To agree draft Budget and Precept request for 2022/23.
e. To review and allocate Reserves.
f. To review Cemetery Fees.
g. To consider/agree membership of LALC Annual Training Scheme for 2022/3 at a cost of £162.00
8. To review and agree councillor membership of the following Parish Council committees as councillor numbers have increased:
a. Policy and Finance
b. Environment
c. Planning
d. HR
e. Events and Community.
f. Emergency Planning
g. Neighbourhood Planning
9. Emergency Plan Update
10.To review/update Cemetery Regulations.
11. Reports from Councillors and any agenda items for next meeting.
